We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Operations Manager to lead our facilities function in the South East region. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the expansion of Coombes Group through identifying, securing, and project managing the acquisition of new premises and transitions.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, particularly in delivering office moves/acquisitions and the ability to work on their own initiative. They will be responsible for headlining the Facilities function, including Front of House, leading, designing, advising upon, and implementing working environments that are professional, accommodate business growth, and support employee wellbeing and engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the Reception and Facilities team
  • Effective management of the facilities budget, providing periodic reports as required
  • Responsible for the security of each premises, including CCTV provision
  • Management of Stores (machinery, equipment, consumables, sundries)
  • Responsible for waste management across Coombes offices, introducing and rolling out measures/strategies to progress environmental sustainability and waste reduction

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of managing facilities teams. They will also be able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and provide clear guidance to colleagues.

This is a hands-on role requiring the ability to be reactive and flexible in approach to deal effectively with the needs of the business and ultimately support the operations of a delivery-focussed and professional company.
