Job Title: 2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 2nd/3rd line support engineer to join our team at Intec Select. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level technical support to our clients, resolving complex technical issues, and implementing new technologies to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Engage with clients to determine their technical requirements, work with clients to deliver projects to a defined scope, quality, cost, and timescale for outcome success.
  • Client Communication: Clarify client system specifications, understand working practices, and the nature of the customers' business.
  • Project Delivery: Work at customer sites, liaise with staff at all levels within their organisation, and develop new technologies and implement these.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Present solutions in clear and consistent written or oral reports using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and prepare documentation and present progress reports to customers following implementation.

Technical Requirements:

  • Microsoft Technologies: Technical proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including Office 365 Cloud, Exchange Online, and SQL, with experience of designing and implementing MS Azure/AWS.
  • Cloud and Virtualization: Azure AD, Intune, Power Apps, Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, Virtualization technologies including Hyper-V or VMware.
  • Network and Storage: Network hardware including Routers, Firewall, Switches, Wi-Fi, Storage including SAN, NAS, SCSI, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel.
  • Security and Backup: Mobile Device Management, Security products, Backup and DR technologies with a strong understanding of BCP.
