Senior Quality Assurance Manager Pharmaceutical

Our client, a leading biotechnology company based in Cambridge, is seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee a small team and ensure cGMP compliance and development of their Quality Management System (QMS).
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA within the biotech GMP sector, with prior line management experience and a proven track record of maintaining and updating a QMS.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading a small team of QA members
- Acting as a senior member of the QA team, leading on new QA initiatives and ongoing management of the QMS
- Overseeing various QA-related functions, including CAPAs, risk management, change control, internal/external auditing, and supplier management
- Leading training on QMS and GMP
Requirements include a BSc/MSc/PhD in a biological/biotechnology discipline, strong career experience in the biological/pharmaceutical QA sector, and previous GMP quality experience.
