Job Title: Chaplain

Methodist Homes is seeking a Chaplain to join our team at Charnwood House. As a Chaplain, you will be responsible for providing spiritual care and support to our residents, as well as building relationships with local faith communities.

About the Role:
  • Provide spiritual care and support to residents, including leading Christian worship services and providing pastoral care.
  • Build relationships with local faith communities and participate in interfaith dialogue.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure that residents' spiritual needs are met.
  • Develop and implement programs to promote spiritual well-being and provide opportunities for residents to explore their faith.
Requirements:
  • Be a practising Christian in good standing with their Christian community.
  • Have experience of providing pastoral care and leading services.
  • Have a strong understanding of spiritual aspects of ageing and dementia.
  • Be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
