Job Overview

The Service Manager will be responsible for delivering high-quality services in our Supported Living Services based in Hull. As the Service Manager, you will provide structured leadership and support to the local team, ensuring the highest standards are met.

Main Responsibilities

  • Vigilant reporting of safeguarding concerns regarding vulnerable individuals
  • Proactive identification of opportunities for growth and development while protecting the Company's values and culture
  • Effective recruitment, training, and development of new team members
  • Collaboration with the training team to ensure staff receive necessary training
  • Staff leadership in enabling service users to live fulfilling lives
  • Risk assessments to safeguard wellbeing
  • Induction/assessment programs for new service users
  • Promotion of a person-centred approach to deliver quality services
  • Understanding of business implications, commissioning process, and audits
  • Maintenance of professional image and relationships with key stakeholders
  • Establishment and maintenance of effective communication
  • Partnership working with external agencies

Requirements

  • Strong supervisory skills with ability to develop a team
  • Qualification in Health and Social Care (Level 2 minimum)
  • Previous experience in Supported Living or Residential services (desired)
  • Experience working with adults with Learning Disabilities or Mental Health conditions (desired)
  • Willingness to undertake further training or development
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced role

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum
