We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to join our team in Hull. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for providing clear and structured day-to-day leadership and support to our local team to ensure the highest quality of service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong supervisory skills, with the ability to support and develop a team, as well as experience working with adults with learning disabilities or mental health conditions.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of £43,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the local team in enabling service users to live fulfilling lives based on their individual needs and aspirations.
  • Ensuring effective communication is established and maintained throughout the service and with external agencies, service users, and their circle of support.
  • Working in conjunction with the training team to ensure all staff receive the correct training.
  • Recruiting and selecting new staff, taking an active part in the interview process.
  • Implementing induction/assessment programs for all new service users, in conjunction with the wider management team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong supervisory skills with the ability to support and develop a team.
  • Qualification to a minimum standard of Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
  • Previous experience in a Supported Living or Residential service.
  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities or mental health conditions.
