Lead Our Parkville Venue to Success
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Parkville venue. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the business, while maintaining high standards of customer service and staff management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Manage all aspects of operations, including staffing, inventory, and maintenance, to achieve optimal performance and efficiency.
- Financial Acumen: Develop and manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and control costs.
- Customer Delight: Ensure a consistently high level of customer service, addressing feedback and resolving issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and events, identifying opportunities to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, EHO, licensing laws, and company policies, conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships, ensuring stock control and minimizing waste.
- Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local communities and organizations, representing the venue at local events and initiatives.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategies to enhance the venue's market position and competitiveness, aligning operational activities with the company's overall goals.
