Cavendish Nuclear, part of Babcock International Group, is seeking a Commercial Manager to join our team in Glasgow. As a Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Nuclear Technical Services Provider (NTSP) framework, which is delivering the refurbishment and upgrade of critical infrastructure at HMNB Clyde.

The Role

As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the NTSP framework, which is a complex and dynamic project. You will work closely with the framework director and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the NTSP framework in delivering the refurbishment and upgrade of critical infrastructure at HMNB Clyde
  • Work closely with the framework director and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the project
  • Provide procurement and contract management support to the project team
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and customers
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies

Requirements:

  • Varied experience of large and complex construction projects
  • Relevant successful experience of provision of QS services in a large project environment
  • Understanding of project management, planning, risk, and investment processes
  • Knowledge of civils infrastructure and construction industry conditions of contract
  • Experience with NEC forms of contract
