Regency High School Teaching Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teacher to join our team at Regency High School, a specialist secondary school catering to students with profound, severe or moderate cognitive and learning needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with pupils who have special educational needs and disabilities, but it is not mandatory. We require all candidates to possess a deep passion and dedication to providing exceptional teaching and learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching programs to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, promoting academic excellence and personal growth.
- Plan and manage resources for teaching and learning, ensuring engaging and effective lesson delivery.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans, driving innovation and improvement in teaching practices.
- Develop strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider community, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and contribute to the school's continuous improvement.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status, demonstrating expertise in teaching and learning.
- Experience working with pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, with a commitment to inclusive education.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and the community.
- Commitment to extending and enriching provision for pupils beyond the school day, enhancing their overall educational experience.
Working Conditions and Benefits:
Regency High School prioritizes safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicant will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and medical clearance check.
Salary and Career Progression: Range from £43,685 to £93,177 per annum, depending on experience.
