Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Underwriter to join our team at D&R Recruitment Limited. As a Mortgage Underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting and approving a pipeline of mortgage and loan cases from application to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite cases and consider customer needs
  • Assess loan documentation, request additional information, and chase information from third parties
  • Carry out checks and assess loan suitability
  • Manage a pipeline of mortgage applications
  • Work within company risk appetite, policy, and criteria
  • Liaise with various third parties, including solicitors and valuers
  • Oversee cases through to offer and completion
  • Adhere to internal underwriting policy and regulatory requirements, including FCA, Money Laundering, and Data Protection

Requirements:

  • Experience in underwriting within Residential Mortgages / BTL / 1st Charge / 2nd Charge
