Job Summary

Glebe House Care Home is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact on the lives of our residents. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as toileting, feeding, and mobility
  • Encouraging residents to participate in activities and engage with their surroundings
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in residents' condition or behavior
  • Working collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • At least 6 months of experience working in a care setting, preferably in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to care
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
