Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with medication administration and monitoring
- Participate in activities and events that promote resident engagement and well-being
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Contribute to a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
Requirements
- SVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification
- At least 6 months of experience working in a care setting or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
