Join Our Team as a Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Doonbank House Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

About the Role:

  • Provide person-centered care to residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Support residents with their medication, including administration and recording.
  • Participate in care planning and review, ensuring residents' needs are met.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to maintain a safe and supportive environment.

Requirements:

  • SVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 6 months' experience working as a Care Assistant or a related role.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
