Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at Doonbank House Care Home. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting, feeding, and mobility
- Encourage residents to participate in activities and engage in social interactions
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' condition or behavior
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
- SVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification
- At least 6 months experience working in a care setting or a related field
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to care
What We Offer
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.10
- Contracted hours of 30 per week, with opportunities for overtime
- 5.6 weeks annual leave
