Job Title: Teaching Assistant for Child with Autism

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate teaching assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role is crucial in helping the child thrive in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils with their learning in 1:1, small groups and the whole class.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher regarding targets and expectations.
  • Liaise with other professionals within the school.
  • Support the monitoring and tracking of all pupils in line with the assessment procedures in school.
  • Helping support the class teacher with IEP's.
Essential Requirements:
  • Must have knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Must be an outgoing individual with an ability to engage with pupils to have FUN while learning.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively and competently within a team.
  • Must be able to engage learners through play.
  • Must have childcare Level 2 or above.
