Job Title: ROV/Trencher Pilot Technician

DeepOcean is seeking a highly skilled and experienced ROV/Trencher Pilot Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our ROV/Trencher spread.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain the ROV/Trencher spread, including the ROV handling system, subsea TMS/ROV, and control system.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the ROV/Trencher spread, ensuring it is in good working order.
  • Conduct risk assessments and safe job analyses to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with the ROV Supervisor and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor and report any technical deviations or problems associated with the ROV equipment or operation.
  • Develop and implement technical and operational improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the ROV/Trencher spread.
Requirements:
  • Apprenticeship certificate in electronics, automation, remote systems, hydraulics, or electric.
  • Strong technical understanding of ROV systems and ability to read and understand complex electrical and hydraulic drawings.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work at height comfortably and safely.
  • Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote).
