Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ROV/Trencher Pilot Technician to join our team at DeepOcean. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our ROV/Trencher spread.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the planning and execution of ROV/Trencher operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company procedures.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of the ROV/Trencher spread, identifying and reporting any defects or issues.
  • Collaborate with the ROV Supervisor to develop and implement effective maintenance and repair strategies.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our operations and services.
Requirements
  • Apprenticeship Certificate in Electronics, Automation, Remote Systems, Hydraulics, or Electric.
  • Proven experience in ROV/Trencher operations, with a strong understanding of complex systems and equipment.
  • Excellent technical skills, with the ability to read and understand complex electrical and hydraulic drawings.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work at height comfortably and safely.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneNote.
  • Experience with ROV/Trencher operations in the offshore industry.
