Opportunity Overview
Due to our ongoing international expansion, ROVOP Inc. is seeking ROV Pilot Technicians at all experience levels to join us on a permanent basis. We have numerous global projects extending into the future, operating on dedicated schedules.

Role Responsibilities
As an ROV Pilot Technician, you will be an integral part of our Core Crew, working on international assignments with primary responsibilities including:

  • Expertise in ROV control, navigation, and propulsion systems.
  • Assisting in the launch and recovery of the ROV system.
  • Ensuring the ROV and its systems are fully operational and compliant with all technical standards throughout the project duration.
  • Conducting dives in accordance with established operating procedures to perform designated tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Performing navigation and observation duties, including log keeping and operating manipulators and ancillary equipment attached to the ROV.
  • Assessing weather conditions and operational parameters to ensure safe ROV operations.
  • Independently piloting the ROV in various environmental conditions.
  • Completing and submitting detailed operational and technical reports at the conclusion of each offshore cycle, covering all project aspects and technical repairs conducted.
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of third-party tools and sensors, with the ability to integrate and troubleshoot as necessary.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Full GWO certification.
  • Valid competency certification.
