About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team at Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our anaesthesia department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert anaesthetic care to patients undergoing a range of surgical procedures, including plastic, maxillofacial, and ophthalmic surgery.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and guidelines, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Participate in audit and quality improvement initiatives, using data to inform practice and drive continuous improvement.
- Engage in teaching and training activities, supporting the development of junior staff and contributing to the education of medical students.
