We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Akari Care. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our award-winning care homes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the care home
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality care services to our residents
- Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the individual needs of our residents
- Lead and manage a team of care staff to ensure excellent standards of care
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care services
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
- Monitor and report on care home performance and quality
- Minimum Level 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care
- Experience of working in the healthcare sector, preferably in a management or leadership role
- NMC (Nursing and Midwifery) certificate with an active PIN
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the care home
- Competitive salary of £23.85 per hour
- Pension contribution of 5%
