About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Akari Care. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our award-winning care homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the care home
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality care services to our residents
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the individual needs of our residents
  • Lead and manage a team of care staff to ensure excellent standards of care
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care services
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Monitor and report on care home performance and quality
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care
  • Experience of working in the healthcare sector, preferably in a management or leadership role
  • NMC (Nursing and Midwifery) certificate with an active PIN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the care home
