East Coast Service Coordinator

Kent County Council is committed to building a workforce that reflects the diversity of the county's residents. We are seeking a talented and dedicated Senior Practitioner to join our Children's Social Work team in the East coast area of Kent.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Practitioner will be responsible for providing a comprehensive, effective, and highly responsive integrated social work service that meets the needs of children and their families. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting interviews, developing observations, and gathering information from children, families, and other agencies.
- Developing and managing protection plans within a child protection framework, care, and pathway plans.
- Acting as a role model and mentor to less experienced colleagues, contributing to training initiatives and proactively maintaining awareness of changes in child development theories, legislation, policies, and practices.
A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum is offered, commensurate with experience. As part of the Kent County Council team, you will benefit from a range of professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and an emphasis on health and wellbeing.
