About the Role

The Senior Practitioner will be responsible for providing a high-quality social work service to children and their families, working closely with multi-agency partners to ensure effective collaboration and decision-making.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing plans to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to less experienced colleagues, contributing to training initiatives and maintaining awareness of changes in child development theories, legislation, policies, and practices.
  • Ensuring all statutory responsibilities are well managed, including visiting children, arranging reviews, and reporting to the court.
