Clinical Practice Development Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Practice Development Nurse to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Practice Development Team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and education of our nursing staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality patient care.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement education programs for nursing staff, ensuring that they are responsive to service developments and meet the needs of our patients.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, promoting evidence-based practice and ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure that education and training needs are met, and that our nursing staff have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality patient care.
- Contribute to the development and review of nursing policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with best practice and meet the needs of our patients.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Person Specification- NMC Registered Nurse Level 1 or Level 15, depending on whether working with adults or children.
- Significant and proven clinical and management skills within a relevant clinical field.
- Demonstrates evidence of developing innovative practice and of being proactive in managing change.
- Evidence of effective multi-disciplinary working.
