Practice Nurse Position

We are seeking two enthusiastic part-time fully trained practice nurses to work around 20 hours a week each on either day of the week except Tuesdays, during the opening hours of the surgery. One of the shifts must be a late shift ending at 6pm.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing services to the practice population, within the boundaries of the role.
- Support patients to be healthy, monitor patients with long-term conditions, and deliver health prevention, promotion, and screening activities.
- Implement and participate in vaccination and immunisation programmes.
- Perform other clinical duties as required, within the scope of the practice nurse's competencies and training.
- Primary care/GP experience.
- Post Graduate diploma or degree - primary care Non-medical prescriber.
- Travel consultations experience and certification of course completion.
- 30 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday pro-rata.
- Fully paid 2-week induction plan and the training and support doesn't end there; we are a surgery that values their staff and encourages training and development.

- Free Eye Tests every 2 years as per HSE.
