About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Care Assistant to join our team, providing exceptional care and support to our residents. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering person-centred care, responding to residents' needs, and working collaboratively with our care team to ensure the highest standards of care.

Main Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assisting residents with meals, snacks, and drinks
  • Helping residents with mobility and transferring them safely
  • Responding to residents' needs and concerns, and reporting any issues to the care team
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control guidelines

About You

  • You have experience of caring for older adults, either in a residential or community setting
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
  • You are flexible and able to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • You are committed to delivering high-quality care, adhering to regulatory requirements and organisational policies
  • You are willing to participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
