Child and Adolescent Mental Health Advocate

We are seeking a qualified Child and Adolescent Mental Health Advocate to join our team at WMJobs. This role involves delivering face-to-face support to schools, primarily in primary schools in Birmingham and the West Midlands area.
The successful candidate will have a deep interest in SEMH and excellent communication and social skills. They will also need to be an excellent teacher and driven to improve behaviour and SEMH in schools.
Key Responsibilities- Delivering face-to-face support to schools, focusing on SEMH and behaviour improvement
- Working closely with teachers to develop effective whole class management strategies
- Providing training and advice to schools on SEMH and behaviour-related topics
- Attending multi-agency meetings to support children with statutory assessment
- Formal experience or qualifications in SEMH are not necessary, as full training will be provided to the successful applicant
- A deep interest in SEMH, excellent teaching skills, and excellent communication and social skills
