We are seeking a Mental Health Advocate to join our team at Rethink Mental Illness. As an advocate, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable individuals with learning disabilities and Autism across the London Boroughs of Camden and Islington.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing non-statutory advocacy services and promoting independence. You will receive comprehensive training and regular supervision to ensure your success in this rewarding role.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advocacy support to service users across Camden and Islington
  • Promote the independence of service users and empower them to make informed decisions
  • Assist service users with writing letters and communicating their needs
  • Foster strong relationships with service users and provide ongoing support
