**About the Role:**

We are partnering with exceptional SEN schools in Bedford to find the ideal candidate for this SEMH Assistant position. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with diverse educational and social needs.

**Salary:** £23,500 - £26,000 per annum (£460 - £500 per week)

**Job Description:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating closely with the clinical team to develop and implement effective support strategies.
  • Supporting teaching and learning activities to promote student engagement and motivation.
  • Providing personal care for pupils when necessary, demonstrating compassion and understanding.

**Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
  • An enthusiastic, energetic, and caring individual who can work effectively as part of a team.
  • A passion for supporting children and young people with special educational needs.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • A Psychology and Criminology Degree.
