Position Overview:

Your responsibilities will primarily revolve around the Quality Management System, Internal Continuous Improvement Programs, and Security protocols.

Quality Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and uphold the company's quality procedures, standards, and specifications.
  • Assess customer requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to define quality expectations from external vendors.
  • Guarantee that production processes adhere to international and national standards (ISO 9001 and AS9100).
  • Identify opportunities to minimize waste and enhance efficiency.
  • Establish quality procedures in partnership with operational staff.
  • Track performance by collecting relevant data and generating statistical reports.
  • Propose changes and improvements, outlining implementation strategies.
  • Utilize relevant quality tools and ensure that management and staff understand how to enhance business operations.
  • Conduct internal audits on the Quality Management System to evaluate its effectiveness.
  • Provide training for new and existing employees on the Quality Management System.
  • Ensure the company operates effectively to maintain competitiveness.

Security Responsibilities:

  • Maintain ultimate authority over all security measures and related accreditations, compliance, and activities across the organization.
  • Assume full responsibility for documenting and updating the Security Policy and Risk Management Accreditation Document Sets.
  • Develop and uphold policies in accordance with HMG and industry standards.
  • Manage contractual obligations and associated actions, including logging and distributing Security Aspects Letters, policy management, and conducting audits.
  • Actively oversee the security vetting processes.
  • Participate in various security conferences.
  • Report to the Directors on any new notifications or developments within the defense industry.

This role is anticipated to be divided into approximately 80% Quality tasks and 20% Security tasks.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A dynamic individual capable of working under tight deadlines.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar capacity.
  • Experience in developing policies in alignment with ISO 9001 is essential.
  • Familiarity with PowerBi is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and confident in collaborating closely with Directors.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and investigation.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to function as part of an international team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing customer requirements.
  • Proficiency in Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in developing policies in accordance with ISO standards is essential.
  • Familiarity with UK MOD security policy and its implementation is advantageous.
  • Possession of existing SC clearance or willingness to undergo vetting for clearance.

Additional Information:

This position is exclusively available to individuals who possess the right to work in the UK without sponsorship and have resided in the UK for the past 5+ years continuously. All employees must undergo pre-employment screening and meet the clearance criteria for UK Security Vetting to SC Level.
