We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Mint People in Kendal. As a School Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering delicious and nutritious meals to our students and staff.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, with experience in menu planning and catering for large groups with diverse dietary needs. You should also possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage a small team and maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities include meal preparation and cooking, ensuring compliance with all food safety regulations, managing kitchen inventory, and maintaining the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.

We offer a competitive hourly salary of £16-£18, along with free parking and school holidays off. Our benefits package includes ongoing work, weekly pay, and a mix of day shifts and evening finishes up to 8pm.

You must have an Enhanced DBS Check and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
