Kitchen Operations Specialist

Mint People is seeking an experienced Chef to join our team in Yorkshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality, nutritious meals to our students and staff.
This role requires a passion for cooking, a commitment to maintaining high standards of food hygiene, and the ability to create a welcoming dining environment.
- Meal Preparation: Plan, prepare, and cook a variety of balanced and healthy meals in line with dietary guidelines and school standards, catering to diverse dietary needs including allergies and special dietary requirements.
- Food Safety: Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene. Conduct regular checks and record-keeping as required by law.
- Stock Management: Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering ingredients and supplies, controlling stock levels, and minimizing waste through efficient kitchen practices.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all meals are prepared in accordance with school policies, health, and safety guidelines, and adhere to any specific dietary needs of students and staff.
Salary Information: The hourly salary for this position is £16-£18 per hour.
