Job Purpose

As a key member of the East Ayrshire Council team, you will contribute to the effective delivery of operational and administrative support functions, assisting in the promotion, delivery, and integration of the Council's key objectives. Specifically, you will support the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Weighbridge team, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of administrative processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records and databases.

Requirements

  • Proven administrative experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Working Arrangements

This is a full-time temporary post for 2 years, with a 37-hour working week. The workstyle is 'Fixed' - 80% of your time will be spent at a single office base or work location, with the remaining 20% spent on other work-related activities.
