Behaviour Mentor Opportunity

We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join our team at a Primary School in Bootle, Liverpool. The successful candidate will work with pupils who require additional support to access education due to their learning needs.

The role involves working with pupils who have social, emotional, and mental health difficulties, providing individual and small group support to help them access the curriculum. The Behaviour Mentor will work closely with the school staff to reduce levels of unauthorised absence and improve attendance and behaviour.

To be considered for this role, you will have prior experience working with Special Educational Needs and the ability to develop good relationships with pupils. You will also have safeguarding knowledge or training, level 1 or above.

This is a full-time position with the opportunity to secure a school contract. Ad-hoc supply work is also available to cover absences and staff training. The pay rate is £13-15 per hour, and you will have the opportunity to develop your experience and undertake certified training.

We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
