Are you an experienced teaching assistant looking for a new challenge? We are working with a boys' special school in Birmingham that requires a qualified and skilled individual to support their pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working with children with SEMH
  • Experience supporting challenging behaviour
  • Some experience of supporting children in Literacy, Numeracy, and working with SEND
  • A good understanding of child development and learning processes
  • The ability to be a great team player and be able to work independently and use initiative
  • An open-minded and inquisitive approach to the job but the ability to work to agreed strategies and procedures
  • The ability to develop and sustain positive relationships with children, fellow staff members, and families

This role offers a competitive salary of £32,000 - £37,000 per annum, as well as a range of benefits including access to ongoing professional development opportunities and a supportive team environment.
