About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Physiologist to join our team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. As a Band 5 Respiratory Physiologist, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic assessments of patients within a specialised physiology setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and record quality control data to ensure that equipment is functioning to agreed standards and specifications.
  • Perform the full range of basic lung function tests on patients of all ages, to obtain good quality diagnostic information.
  • Communicate complex instructions effectively to patients of all ages to ensure cooperation and compliance and to obtain accurate technical and clinical data.
Requirements
  • BSc in Clinical Science/Physiology or relevant scientific degree
  • Level 4 Healthcare science associate Apprenticeship and Practitioner
  • ARTP/BTS Part I and Part 2 Assessment or Registered or be eligible for the RCCP/ HCPC registration

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £25,621 - £34,426 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, annual leave, and sick pay.
