About the Role

University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse to join our team. As a Neonatal Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to newborn babies and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert care to newborn babies, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, providing emotional support and guidance.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Registered Children's Nurse, Registered Nurse, or Registered Midwife qualification.
  • Qualification in Specialty, such as Neonatal Nursing.
  • Teaching and assessing qualification.
  • Recent experience at senior staff nurse level within neonatal nursing.
  • Evidence of clinical competence in neonatal nursing skills.
  • Evidence of ability to assume a lead clinical role.
  • Understanding of the setting and monitoring of standards.
  • Evidence of teaching and developing staff.
