Key Responsibilities- Provide expert care to neonates with complex medical conditions, including those requiring intensive care and high dependency care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and communication.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care strategies.
- Provide education and support to families and healthcare professionals to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Registered Children's Nurse, Registered Nurse, or Registered Midwife qualification.
- Qualification in Specialty, such as Neonatal Nursing.
- Teaching and assessing qualification.
- Recent experience at senior staff nurse level within neonatal nursing.
- Evidence of clinical competence in neonatal nursing skills.
- Evidence of ability to assume a lead clinical role.
- Understanding of the setting and monitoring of standards.
- Evidence of teaching and developing staff.
- First-level degree.
- Recent leadership development.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivated.
- Innovative.
- Good listener.
- Adaptable to the changing needs of the service.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Approachable.
