Job Title: Customer Relations Technical Handler

At STRIDE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT LTD, we are seeking a skilled Customer Relations Technical Handler to join our team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced environment, handling complex insurance complaints and resolving issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of complex insurance complaints, prioritizing tasks to meet regulatory timescales and achieve fair outcomes.
  • Collaborate with various business areas to understand complaint nature and resolve issues effectively, while developing expertise and knowledge.
  • Liaise with the Financial Ombudsman Service, confidently challenging their views when evidence supports it, and sharing key learnings with stakeholders.
  • Identify root causes and complaint trends, working with business areas and senior stakeholders to implement changes and improve service offerings.
  • Act as a technical referral point, providing guidance to the Customer Relations team and other areas of the business.
Requirements:
  • A confident, driven individual with excellent communication skills, able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous situations, determining what is right and standing by decisions.
  • Ability to challenge current processes and operations through influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar technical complaints role or within the insurance sector.
