Customer Relations Technical Specialist
Stride Resource Management Ltd is seeking a skilled Customer Relations Technical Specialist to join their team. This role is ideal for a driven individual who can handle complex insurance complaints and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The Role:
- Manage a portfolio of complex insurance complaints, prioritizing workload to meet regulatory timescales and achieve fair outcomes.
- Collaborate with various business areas to understand complaint nature and resolve issues efficiently, while developing expertise and knowledge.
- Liaise with the Financial Ombudsman Service, confidently challenging their views when evidence supports it, and sharing key learnings with stakeholders.
- Identify root causes and complaint trends to drive superb service across the business, working with relevant areas and stakeholders to implement necessary changes.
- Act as a technical referral point, providing guidance to the Customer Relations team and other areas of the business.
The Candidate:
- A confident, driven individual with exceptional organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail, able to work effectively under pressure.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous situations, determining what is right and standing by decisions.
- Ability to challenge current processes and operations through influencing and negotiating skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing.
- Previous experience in a similar technical complaints role and/or within the insurance sector.
