Job OverviewThis role offers an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Retail Customer Service Manager in one of our busy betting shops. As a key member of the shop team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and driving sales through excellent product knowledge and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Provide top-notch customer experience, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Sales and Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date product knowledge, take bets on a wide range of sports and events, and process customer transactions efficiently.
- Rapport Building: Build positive relationships with customers, encourage repeat business, and contribute to a welcoming and inclusive shopping environment.
- Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate effectively with colleagues, provide support during peak periods, and communicate clearly and respectfully.
To succeed in this role, you must be passionate about delivering great customer service, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team. You should also be self-motivated, proactive, and able to deal with challenging situations calmly and professionally.
We require a minimum of 18 years of age and a commitment to maintaining high shop standards. Availability from Friday 5pm - 10pm and Saturday, Sunday 8am - 10pm is essential, including weekends and bank holidays. A typical weekly rota will include a blend of long opening shifts, long closing shifts, and shorter evening shifts.
