Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of global metals markets, including market trends, supply and demand dynamics, and price forecasting models.
  • Present the latest price outlook to our supply chain and procurement clients, providing actionable insights to help them make informed business decisions.
  • Lead a team of analysts in developing thought leadership on nonferrous metals, including market research, analysis, and forecasting.
  • Respond to clients' research-related questions, providing unbiased and timely insights to support their business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement forecast models, including equation estimation and statistical analysis.
  • Create monthly and quarterly reports highlighting the next year's outlook and fundamental drivers of metal prices.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and developing strategic partnerships.
Requirements:
  • At least 8-10 years of experience analyzing the global metals market, with a strong understanding of market trends, supply and demand dynamics, and price forecasting models.
  • Proven track record of presenting complex ideas in a clear and concise manner to small and large audiences.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics or a related field.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with experience in statistical modeling and econometric analysis.
  • Excellent English speaking and writing capabilities, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Customer-focused background, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges of supply chain and procurement professionals.
