Devon Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Perinatal Service Line Clinical Director to lead the development of transformative clinical redesign and pathway development. This senior leadership role requires excellent organisational and planning skills, with a proven track record in leading clinical redesign and developing quality governance frameworks.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be accountable for translating the South West Provider Collaborative strategy into a clinical service strategy for the perinatal service line. This involves designing and implementing innovative clinical models tailored to the unique needs of perinatal patients, as well as overseeing clinical excellence and fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of transformational clinical models to address the assessed needs of the perinatal population in the South West.
  • Design and develop clinical pathways that align with national and regional best practice.
  • Develop and oversee quality governance and assurance frameworks to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality care.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess substantial senior clinical leadership experience in the development of transformative clinical redesign and pathway development, as well as detailed knowledge of NHS policies relating to mental health and good working knowledge of other healthcare and public service sectors.

A minimum salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, dependent on experience, is available for this exciting opportunity.
