Rethink Mental Illness is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead the team at our services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health services and a proven track record of delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized service delivery plans to ensure safe and effective care for residents.
  • Lead a team of staff to provide support and guidance to residents, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.
  • Implement and maintain safe systems of work, including personal safety and lone working, in accordance with Rethink Mental Illness' safety policies.
  • Manage incidents and accidents effectively, adhering to policies and regulatory notifications.
  • Develop and implement effective complaints management procedures to enhance service user experience.
  • Lead safeguarding practices, ensuring effective reporting and professional relationships with the safeguarding team.
  • Provide effective line management, handling conduct, performance, and attendance issues.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in an operational management capacity in a health/social care setting.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of legal responsibilities and standards for CQC registered services, including person-centred service delivery.
  • Supervision and Leadership: Experience in providing effective supervision, leadership, and management of staff.
  • Direct Experience: Experience working directly with people with severe mental illness.
  • Agency Work: Experience working within statutory agencies.
