About the Role

At Hargreaves Lansdown, we are seeking a skilled Procurement Category Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our existing and new suppliers to drive change and create value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full supplier lifecycle and management, including supplier selection, commercial negotiation, and contracting.
  • Category management, establishing and maintaining category plans aligned with business and technology strategy.
  • Sourcing, executing the sourcing strategy, leading on end-to-end sourcing activity, and negotiating contracts.
  • Supplier management, establishing a robust governance framework to manage relationships and deliver contract obligations.

About You

  • Experience working across the business, working with senior stakeholders to build category plans.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills, with experience in leading high-value, complex negotiations.
  • Knowledge of regulatory landscape in a Financial Services environment and understanding of EBA Guidelines on Outsourcing.
  • Good data analytics skills, with the ability to understand financial, economic, risk, and contractual data.

Interview Process

This interview process will incorporate competency-based questions and an assessment of your technical knowledge and transferable skills.

Working Schedule

We are looking for Senior Procurement Category Managers to join our team, based in Bristol head office, BS1 5HL. This role is permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We offer a hybrid flexible working pattern to enable you the option of working from home and coming into the office.
