We are seeking a highly experienced Design Manager to join our team at Third Space Support Office. As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of our luxury club designs, ensuring that each project reflects our brand's commitment to excellence and aligns with the evolving needs of our members.
Key Responsibilities- Feasibility Studies: Conduct in-depth feasibility studies for new club developments and major refurbishments, assessing the potential of various sites to align with Third Space's luxury brand standards.
- Design Concept Development: Create initial spatial layouts and high-level design concepts based on feasibility findings, ensuring that each project is both practical and visionary.
- Design Guide Development: Develop, maintain, and refine a 'Design Guide' to standardise key elements across all club designs while allowing for bespoke adaptations that reflect the unique identity of each location.
- Design Process Oversight: Work closely with internal teams and external consultants to ensure that design concepts are viable and align with budget constraints. Your role will be pivotal in steering the design process from feasibility to final implementation.
- Refurbishment Management: Oversee and contribute to the refurbishment of existing clubs, ensuring that all design work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Innovation and Problem-Solving: Continuously explore new and innovative design solutions, identifying and resolving any potential issues that could impact the feasibility and success of each project.
We are looking for an experienced Design Manager with a strong background in architecture or design management, ideally within luxury environments. You'll have experience leading feasibility assessments, spatial planning, and managing multiple high-end projects simultaneously. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp is essential, along with a deep understanding of RIBA stages, building regulations, and practical design implementation.
