About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at one of the largest automation companies in the world.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the machinery and automation of equipment on site, including pneumatics, hydraulics, bagging machines, hanging garment systems, and steam tunnels.

You will have the opportunity to pitch projects to the Engineering Manager, allowing you to bring your vision and add value to the future of the site.

In this role, you will handle mechanical responsibilities such as working on bearings, rollers, shafts, pulleys, and the boiler system. You will also manage electrical responsibilities including sensors, circuit breakers, contactors, and PLCs.

About You

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer who holds a recognized Engineering Qualification, is a proactive engineer eager to grow their skillset and participate in projects, and is confident working with both electrical and mechanical systems.

You will also be responsible for upskilling the Trainee Engineer who will report to you technically.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum, paid double days shift (6-2 / 2-10), 30 days holiday + option to buy more, and training in various responsibilities and upskilling opportunities, including NVQ Level 3, BOAS, and other qualifications to enhance your skill set.
