Electrical Engineering Expert for Automation Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to join our growing team in the UK. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive expertise in Siemens TIA S7-1500 and extensive experience in designing automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement complex automation systems using Siemens TIA S7-1500
  • Develop and commission PLC and HMI/SCADA systems from scratch
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. They will also have a deep understanding of automated warehousing and conveyor systems projects.

This is a remote work opportunity with flexibility in location, but the majority of current projects are concentrated in the Midlands and North London regions. We offer a competitive salary package and a range of benefits, including a performance-based bonus scheme and a generous holiday entitlement.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Siemens TIA S7-1500 and PLC programming
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
