Service Assistant

As a Service Assistant at The National Trust, you will be the face of our property, providing a warm and friendly welcome to our visitors. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, creating a magical experience for our guests, and ensuring that all communication to visitors is clear and consistent. This role is perfect for anyone with an enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer service and who has a keen interest in learning about visitor operations.
About the Role
As a member of our seasonal team, you will be based at Hardwick Hall, an Elizabethan Hall with a formal garden, parkland, and visitor facilities. You will be working alongside a team of staff and volunteers to provide the best possible visitor experience for the Hardwick 'Wintertide' celebration, an Elizabethan twist on Christmas festivities and traditions. You will be involved in different tasks to bring this to life, including meeting and greeting visitors, maintaining good presentation of the displays and equipment, and working alongside a team of staff and volunteers. This role is a chance to really engage with and inspire our visitors, as well as grow support for the National Trust through fundraising conversations and sharing our charitable cause.

You will be working in a rural area, so you should be able to get to the location for work.
