Care Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Care Assistant to join our team in Clay Cross, covering weekend shifts on a Saturday and/or Sunday. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to residents in a community-based setting.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake scheduled visits to perform standard tasks such as personal care, light domestic duties, and basic meal preparation.
- Administer medication as required, including prompted medication and assisted medicating, and complete the appropriate MARs.
- Work straight shifts with no travelling between sites or unpaid travel time.
- Due to the location of this service, we are looking for applicants within the local area or with their own transport.
- 2 years of professional referencing, including 1 from your most recent employer.
- In-date mandatory training certificates, including Practical Moving and Handling training.
- Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 4 months or registered on the Update Service.
- Minimum of 12 months paid UK work experience working within a care home or nursing home setting.
- Full, up-to-date CV with a minimum of 5 years of employment history.
