Residential Care Manager

Gilbert Meher is seeking a highly skilled Residential Care Manager to lead our 4-bed home, specialising in supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
You'll play a pivotal role in helping young people achieve stability, confidence, and brighter futures by creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.
About the Role:
As the Registered Home Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a dedicated team to provide high-quality care and manage daily operations. Your key focus areas will include compliance, staffing, and care planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily management of the home, ensuring it meets regulatory standards.
- Work with young people to establish individualised care plans that support their emotional, social, and educational development.
- Collaborate with families, social workers, and external agencies to support holistic care for each young person.
Requirements:
- Level 5 Qualification in Leadership and Management (or actively working towards completion).
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within an EBD or similar children's residential care setting.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team and foster a positive culture.
Estimated Salary: £52,500 - £67,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
